This is Dave Knudson’s “small” pedalboard set-up when playing with Minus the Bear. This was a huge band in my youth, and Dave was/is a huge influence on my playing. I heard what they were doing a few months ago and was not too excited. I love the old stuff where the whole band is really playing, but as I get older and older, I feel like I’ve been way too stoned and that all the bands around me are too. Being stoned all the time makes you satisfied with music that is lacking. Be careful California, pot can ruin music.
That being said, I will buy this new record, just because I’m a fan of the past stuff. I’m kind of a slut, but that doesn’t bother me; at least someone’s getting laid.
