Listen, Tubescreamers are great and all but people need to calm the fuck down. They’re not THAT great. They have one sound, which generally sounds like cardboard (which can be cool, provided you’re a good player). It seems if you don’t have a good amp, it makes your amp sound smaller, because of the mid range (which can be cool). What’s not cool are Tube Screamers and small combo amps:
“Oh, a little amp! Here lemme put this box in front of it that nukes your guitar’s tone and makes your amp sound smaller..”
