It’s crazy.
I just threw in Lullaby’s to Paralyze after not listening to it for 4-6 months. It’s by far my favorite sounding Queens record now. First of all, the guitar tones are perfect. The songs aren’t as stroganoff as other records, but what the songs lack lyically (and sometimes sonically; that whammy pedal thing is always annoying), is made up by amazingly cut rock songs. It sort of reminds me of Nirvana, sonically. Josh’s voice sounds amazing on the first few tracks where it takes on a lo-fi grit that is barely ever exhibited these days. I saw a band tonight who were tight musically and cool, but they had NO songs; anywhere to be found. This record has some strong stuff.
Building amps…Christ…it’s about to get crazy. My life is amazing.
